We Are Hiring!

We’re looking for a technically driven Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D team developing next-generation Starlink communication and telemetry hardware. This role blends mechanical design, electronics integration, and field deployment — perfect for engineers who enjoy hands-on problem solving, advanced simulation, and building systems that perform in real-world, off-grid environments.

Key Focus Areas

  • Design and develop mechanical enclosures and mounting systems for Starlink terminals, routers, and control electronics.

  • Perform FEA and thermal simulations to ensure durability and heat management in harsh Australian conditions.

  • Engineer IP65–IP67-rated housings with precise tolerance control and environmental sealing.

  • Support technical Starlink operations, including dish modification, antenna alignment, and power management integration.

  • Prototype using 3D printing (PETG, PC, ASA) and coordinate CNC manufacturing of aluminium and stainless components.

  • Conduct vibration, ingress, and field performance testing for communication and telemetry units.

  • Integrate GNSS/4G/PoE modules within compact enclosure systems for off-grid IoT applications.

  • Collaborate with electrical and firmware teams on thermal, mechanical, and EMI optimisation.

  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, test documentation, and assembly procedures to Australian standards.

  • Participate in on-site installations and field validation across varied terrain and climates.

Ideal Candidate

  • Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer.

  • Experience in CAD, FEA, and product design for electronic enclosures.

  • Practical exposure to Starlink or satellite systems highly desirable.

  • Familiar with low-voltage systems, GNSS, IoT, and PoE integration.

Comfortable working across design, prototyping, testing, and field validation stages.
